Along with the grime elite, Sway and Kano, Bizzle has a few things to get off his chest.

‘Mind Your Head’ came out as a limited edition single last month and followed ‘Fire’ (via Stevie Wonder sample). Both tracks are on the debut album, Against All Oddz and they show a range of his styles.

What you need to know about the single is that Sam E. Danger (ex-Test Icicles as they performed their final gig at the Astoria last week) is on the remix. This is arguably the birth of grindie as the Test Icicles were the screamo emo punks of choice. Only fair as Mr. Bizzle featured on the Test Icicles 12” final fling remix (“more of an explosive demolition”), ‘Boa vs. Python’.

It’s strange to think Test Icicles were on Domino Records but V2 have singed up Lethal and he’s proving to be just that. The potential of grime (via hip hop) meets indie (via punk) was too much for The Rakes to ignore as they got Bizzle to guest rap on their recent hit, ‘22 Grand Job’.

The studio session was shown on Channel U as part of Bizzle’s new TV Show, ‘Da Bizzle’ (it was on Sunday night last week, check listings). It also featured footage of him coming out of the Dublin Castle where he’d been performing as part of the Camden Crawl ‘festival’ a couple of weeks ago.
