A thought-provoking article recently appeared in the Independent newspaper (UK) featuring an interview with Congolese superstar Papa Wemba. He is in trouble with the Belgian and French authorities after numerous instances involving dancers going missing on international trips and accusations that he was personally involved in profiting from people smuggling.
