Damian started Fly back in 1995 with a love of jazz and a naive hope that this internet thing might pay for itself. Needless to say, he had to get a paid job after the money from the bank ran out and since then has been at various places including a long spell at the BBC working on their websites and in Interactive TV.

Spurred on by the enthusiasm of punters, mega-contributor Phil Meadley and Damian's good friend Neil Clavin (Fly's head of production and design), Damian has been working hard to get Fly back to the levels of music journalism and design it was once justly renowned for.
