Throat singers Huun-Huur-Tu meaning ‘sun propeller’ in Tuvan became the darlings of the US experimental music when they formed back in 1992. Past collaborations have included Frank Zappa. An guaranteed evening of intrigue.

At the forefront of British jazz for the past twenty years, Courtney Pine has managed to bring world music, pop, reggae, electronica, funk and soul to sit in with the jazz tradition on his recordings. Making his Belfast debut, this is not to be missed.

Sunday 7th May
Film ‘I Know I Am Not Alone’
With guest appearance and performance by Michael Franti
Waterfront Studio
World-renowned musician and human rights worker Michael Franti, travels to Iraq, Palestine and Israel to explore the human cost of war. With its raw video and editing techniques this is tipped as anything unlike the many academic and politically driven pieces in the marketplace.
