Titled the Hip-Life Festival, this extravaganza will feature live performances from ten of the hottest and talented musicians in the Ghanaian music scene. Artists include recent Ghana Music Awards 2006 recipients Kwabena Kwabena, Nkasei, Praye and Wutah as well as the prolific Tic-Tac, Tinny, 4 × 4, Madfish and Nana Wusu.

Music fans will also have the opportunity to witness the talent of the up + coming UK based Ghana artists such as Kingseyez, Ntatia, Howls of Lords, Candyman, Sonny Achiba, Sonny Bali and Koko. Representing the female contingent will be the finest female lyricist, Abrewa Nana with her Ragga styled tunes as well as Lady Sledge.

The show will be hosted by Ghana’s No.1 TV presenter Bola Ray and Nana Asamoah of Kasapa FM. And the DJ selection boasts the best spinners in Ghanaian radio and club-land in the UK including DJ Alordia, who incidentally is one of the organisers of the event, alongside his partner in crime Skoobi, Fiifi Pratt, Big L, Makosa, Exhale, Giles Bossman as well as various DJs from Ghanaian radio station Hot 9000FM, Kasapa FM, Rainbow Radio, Voice of Africa and GBC FM. M.C.’s for the night will be Warren Gizzle, Lyrical, Clarke Pentoa, Daddy Fingers, Adusei, Undercover and Godfather.
