Katchafire - UK/Ireland Tour |

|
Countryman Zane Lowe put Hamilton’s eight-piece Katchafire in his top three list of roots-reggae inspired bands along with Fat Freddy’s Drop (Somerset House, 8th July) and Rhombus. We’re told to look out for their debut album Revival which came out in 2002 and their new, less Bob Marley influenced album, Slow-Burning. I love the cheeky ‘Soul-Jazz’ cover to their Homegrown Dub album and that would be enough for me to try and catch them on their current UK/Ireland leg of their world tour. A big live good-time reputation and Zane Lowe recommended, what more do you need? Tour Dates: |
