DJ Richard E & Annabel (lee) will be providing an evening of Latin, bossa, jazz, fusion, soul and funky beats including their latest double a single, (1849) / I Heard with live vocals from Annabel and loads from their current hit list (see below).
No only that, their special guest DJ is Nik Weston of Mukatsuku Records (now nearly 3!) Like Further Out Recordings, Nik’s label might not be that prolific but you can guarantee that what is released is always worth the wait, like the latest single, the Kaleta & Akoya Afrobeat monster ‘The Spirit Of Fela Is Alive & Well!’ (review coming HERE soon). And what with Nik’s connections, be prepared for some Japanese jazz with attitude and some stuff from the leftfield, like West/Rock/Woods’ version of The Cure’s ‘Love Cats’.
Looks like another great night in the Camino!
