The Carnival de Cuba London Festival - South Bank, Saturday 10th June - 11th June

Party in true Latin style at the Carnival de Cuba London Festival. The Carnival de Cuba London Festival returns to London for 2006 with a huge showcase of live music, dance, workshops and more, exploding on to the South Bank in June.

A Latin explosion
London will be alive with Latin spirit in Carnival de Cuba, buzzing with vibrancy, energy and colour. This year’s festival includes a selection of world class Cuban music, with live performances from leading Cuban music company Egrem. Visitors can also sample Cuban cigars, tropical cocktails and authentic coffees, promising a complete Latin experience in London.

Musical highlights at Carnival de Cuba
Live acts performing at the Carnival de Cuba London Festival include contemporary favourites Sur Caribe and Arnaldo y su Talisman, Latin legends Pedrito Calvo and Osvaldo Chacon y su Timba and Roberto Pla. In addition there will also be a huge reggaeton showcase with the likes of Kid Afrika, Stylo Prohido, Leximan y su Clan and Cafe Mezcaldo.

Family fun at Carnival de Cuba
Carnival workshops will be taking place throughout the Carnival de Cuba London festival, offering kids the chance to get hands on with Cuban culture. Traditional Latin food and drink will also be available, including tropical smoothies.

Football action
Football fans at Carnival de Cuba needn’t miss a moment of the World Cup, as matches will be screened during the festival on large screens. Revellers can cheer on the teams whilst partying in Latin style.

The Carnival de Cuba London Festival takes place at South Bank from Saturday 10th June - Sunday 11th June. The festival starts at 12pm on both days, ending at 8pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday.

Carnival de Cuba is free to attend.
