Keziah Jones shone on guitar, Ty had their moments and Damon Albarn was kind of sweet but his song sucked (but not as much as 'Home Cooking' by Ty -- youch).

But there were as many moments of sublime grooviness as there were examples of under-rehearsal not paying off. Give 'em another week and it would have been a miracle.

Consolation for the missed opportunity came in the form of Rita and crew at the Shrine club afterwards. Blow cats, blow...
