Rich house pickings on the compilation front at the moment with A Boy’s Own Odyssey (Volume II) and The Shapeshifters In The House coming out soon but here are some 4Hero remixes that must be destined for future compilations al a 4Hero’s own …Mixing.

From the excellent artwork by Nathan Jalani Taylor (at least), you’ll recognise ‘Look Inside’ has been taken from their last album Play With the Changes. So it’s been a bit of a while since the original came out but it has been well worth the wait as Karizma and Simbad (he of the ‘I Know All The Bitches’ remix) have teamed up (calling themselves Izmabad) to give ‘Look Inside’ a proper broken House workover.

Not only that, Daz-I-Kue comes in for some serious ‘Expansions’ inspired brokenness that really suits to the vocals of Face (who goes back to 4heros Two Pages album on Talkin’ Loud).

And to finish off, in keeping with our renewed d’n’b faith (a la Metalheadz Present The Platinum Series) here’s a name still going strong, straight from the Hospital, it’s Nu:Tone. They way he gets the strings to work in a d’n’b style is tremendous and possible the best remix of the three.

This 12” might have come out last month but I only spotted it in the shops this week and it’ll be fresh for a while yet.
