Please note this is an old page and Fly Global Music has now moved. Please follow this link and search for the entry in the new site. The African Soul Rebels II tour opened with Souad Massi. This beautiful Algerian, known for her melancholy take on traditional Algerian music, encouraged the packed Brighton Dome audience to sing along. Her music clearly demonstrates flamenco’s lineage to Algeria through the stomping beats and intricate guitar work provided by Souad herself. |
