Arcadion (aka Alan Dobson) is a bit of a digger as ‘Ghost Feeder’ is a bit of a histoical homage but in the best way possible. If you long for some space tinged Fatback/nu-Trouble Funk revival, here’s something to get excited about.

Hopefully Arcadion will get booked for gigs like the forthcoming Bloc Weekend where he could appear alongside legends like Egyptian Lover and Arabian Prince (both are already booked up to apprear live and check AP’s album of earlier this year Arabian Prince - Innovative Life: The Anthology, 1984-1989 for some original electro boogie).

Acradion’s arrival at DC Recordings was a tad late for Death Before Distemper 2: Revenge Of The Iron Ferret but Acradion is not the only thing up Mr. Dobson’s sleeve as he is also known as Hungryghost (with a remix of Nightmare On Wax’s ‘Da Feelin’ and other releases coming soon on Nightmares On Wax’s ‘Wax On’ label).

The b-side, ‘Arc’ is even more cowbell go-go all night long and I’m not at all surprised that Mr. Scuff loves both these tracks as there’s loads of leftfield wobble about it. Just out in time for some serious party goings on.
