Cadence Weapon - House Music |

Taken from the album Afterparty Babies, I should have spotted it then; I blame the combination of James Pants and Daedelus for messin’ with my mind. In my defence, unusually, the Radio Edit is tighter and more bangin’ than the album version as this Rap-House-Techno Music is going even further than the Jungle Brothers or those rave popsters upstarts, The Klaxons. Cadence Weapon is in the house alright and it’s LOUD! And just when you thought you couldn’t party no-more, Weapon’s rap gets some old school style on a bouncing deep squechy bassline that Jellybass would be proud of. Remixed by “the mysterious producer” A1 Bassline, it’s the best way to have fun on the club scene. I hope that’s him on the cover with Cadence; very Moondog/Cope. By the size of his gig list, starting from next week, he’s going to be “in the House” near you very soon including Glastonbury. What do you say, Jay Z or Cadence W? Whip it real good to the Weapon; “I’m in the House”. 05.14.08 — London — Amersham Arms 06.22.08 — Calgary, AB — V FEST Reviewed: Weapon — House Music (Big Dada Recordings) Cat.
