‘Roses’ is a flirty, floaty, bleepy, organic number. Clarisse’s gravel vocals sit comfortably on top of a confusing 6/8 beat, which seems only to enhance the track.

Bangana step up to the plate for remix duty on Roses — and give us an altogether more upbeat, hypnotic, pulsating track that just teases us into thinking it will morph into a chunky house mix.

And ‘Time Is Now’ is just damn sexy — Clarisse’s suggestive tones synch well with the stabbing, sinister synths and a dark chorus line.

This EP is one for the mellow, soulful heads. I’m eagerly awaiting the full album.
