DJ Vadim - The Sound Catcher |

That’s the brief DJ Vadim seems to have given himself on his newest project and like any serious butterfly hunter he takes his task seriously. Vadim catches some dubby beats to kick off with, bringing in Emo and Syrus on ‘Fear Feats’, before heading into electro-downbeat with some great trip hop vocals from Sena on ‘Talk To Me’ There’s some quality French hip hop featuring Big Red on ‘Kill Kill Kill’. In line with the title the styles shift throughout so there’s no chance of getting bored with the beats in here. There is a real emphasis on songs in here, and like DJ Vadim’s One Self Children of Possibility album it’s one for the summer. Long live musical lepidoptery I say. The Sound Catcher is released on BBE records. |
