Now on their third single following on from ‘The Cult Of Romance’ and ‘Lies’, “post-millennial dancefloor pop” is still the flavour of the day and with support spots for the Lovebox experts, Groove Armada last week, now is the ideal time to release a new single.

The original version has a rather smart video to go with it (check it out below) but regular readers with know that we’re more interested in the remixes.

Inevitability, as they are now signed to Moda Music, the brightest DJs on Radio 1 at the moment, that’s Jaymo and Andy George (who took Moda from a club night in Lincoln to a residency in Ibiza to a monthly show on Radio One (being a quarter of New DJs We Trust</ along with Metric, Toddla T and Phonica’s Heidi). They take ‘Stop And Stare’ to the Ibiza-party max along with some clanger synths and bass boost kicks in; with gigs at Heaven and The Coronet at the end of the month, this is bound to be a hit.

Now we try and keep a breast of all the new stuff you where has Tony Senghore come from? Jaymo and Andy have picked him up from the bedroom remix phat-lands of Lincolnshire’s gang masters? Where ever they found him (actually, he’s long-time house producer and label owner from Sweden) they’ve got a twisted one that really does remix it; and he gets the credit with both a vocal and dub mix. Makes you stop and stare this one (well actually both of his remixes). Recommend pay them back to back, mix em up and generally bounce around for the best part of a quarter of an hour.

Fenech Soler was originally conceived as a studio project by brothers Ben and Ross Duffy together Dan Soler and most recently, drummer and studio whiz Andrew Lindsay. As a fully fledged band, they are now as confident live as they are in the studio and they are sure to be all over the radio again with Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out, Eddie Temple Morris, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe already in the fan club.

Watch out for their remix of ‘next big girl thing’ Marina & The Diamonds’ single ‘Hollywood’ but if you fancy some Italo-Disco ‘Stop & Stare’, the Mighty Mouse remix is HMD massive. Oh! Heaven!
