Bringing the Berlin party mood to London, Meindl’s Reality Is On The Way is very much in his style of melody and minimal electro. Added to that he’s in the engine room of that u-boat whose pistons are throbbing away with clanging pipes: you might say “click warm industrial” is you were into that type of thing.

The b-side sees Meindl in more of a house mood with some electro touches, as there’s no holding him back. He calls it “minimal techno, minimal house and electro” and that just about says it all. ‘In the Flashlights’ is a fine housey instrumental all right while ‘Light Speed’ is no warp factor as it’s quite heavy on the beat. OK it’s a bomb but there’s that steam train in the background getting us going.

We know from our interview with (Florian Meindl), the man himself thinks My Way is his best production yet. That may be so but as we’ve got another three months to wait to hear that one so get real with this 12” this week.
