Now don’t tell me that you don’t need a record that’s released on Coco Machete! I’d walk to the flesh pots of Soho for a release on such a label, at least from Shoreditch or Camden darlings but Dalston is just too far! So with that out of the way, the original mix by Bastian Heerhorst (aka Fukkk Offf himself) leads the way as his tribute to the girls of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn; do I need any more excuse to get onto system admin to unblock access to certain Internet sites on that news? (Apparently I do).

But being the geek I am, more interesting is SCNDL’s love of Roland CR-78 drums beats with his electro-raver remix. And it doesn’t stop there as Disco Of Doom (aka the combination of Rogue Element and Tom Real) get busy in a Soho screening of B-movie proportions. Watch out for a Disco Of Doom debut summer release of a track called ‘War Pig’ (it would seem totally unrelated to any Black Sabbath track you’d think).

Best of the set for me is that closer, the Polymorphic remix who are best known as the Moscow deviants that brought us the remix of ‘Technomusic’ earlier this year as they continue to bang hard on the synths, surely a popular request down the Reeperbahn way (the one and only Hectic visit was in 1990s and thankfully no STDs to report).

Unsurprisingly the likes of Digitalism and Boyz Noise are fans and there’s loads of club dates lined up. And if you’re going to see them live, remember, there’s only four fs in Fukkk Offf, four fs in Fukkk Offf, etc. And there’s an album due in the summer so expect more bang to your buck soon.
