Head And Neck Sessions - 'Twelve Twelve' |

Please note this is an old page and Fly Global Music has now moved. Please follow this link and search for the entry in the new site. James Crichlow (Bass, Fender Rhodes, Synthesizer), Alex Clapworthy (Drums) and Matt Chlebek (Synthesizer, Turntables) are the modern day electronic jazz trio. ‘Twelve Twelve’ starts uncomfortably like ‘All Things’, almost like a remix (where’s that man Daisuke Tanabe?) so for me, ‘Flowes’ is the track here. It’s still in the Cinematic Orchestra area but with a warp synth vocal that could be Icelandic or African (in a Jazzland/Dhafer Youssef type way). This is a very promising start and already turning heads in the central London vinyl heartlands of Phonica and If Music… such that the album is eagerly anticipated.
