Yet another cracking release on Dancing Turtle records that has reached the airwaves of Shibuya FM (Tokyo), WHCR (New York), Triple R (Melbourne) as well as the usual leftfield shows in the UK and Europe.

Like our friends at Futuristica Music, Inkliing is a young British producer who deals in elements of jazz, hip hop, soul, dubstep, beats, world and downtempo experimentalism to form something beguiling and inspirational; similar to a mix of Flyt, Kira Neris, Emanative and Jazz Chronicles; you know what, this is essential listening.

‘Zonin’ is current favourite as it’s got some really cool sax and tinkering piano to those hip-hop beats but it’s all excellent, try the bass on ‘Real Time’, the eerie Cinematic dupstep of ‘Shutter’ and the out of this world space travel of ‘Cashback’; this guy should have as big a buzz about him as Bullion, Paul White, Mr. Beatnik and all the other mates of MamikO in Amsterdam.

Whilst Inkliing’s music is very hip and hypnotic, keep tuned to Dancing Turtle as they have also signed up Daisuke Tanabe under the nose of Burnt Progress/CDr so expect (see feature on Daisuke HERE) so be prepared for something special from that pairing soon. In the meantime, the sound in our ears and the name on our lips in Inkliing!
