This is a lesson in keeping your eye on the ball as Veryverywrongindeed drop another monster that’s rockin’ the house. This time it’s “family member” Mike Monday that’s been mates with head honcho Tim Sheridan for years and this one is a worthy new release.

Every track from VVWI has twisted our dancing feet, from Tom Dazing’s Wasp Cocktail and Your Body is no exception as warm synths from quasar to ping-pong just go BOOOM, BOOOM, BOOOM, BOOOOOM in an electronic cathedral of heart rate monitor bleep; watch the bass bins shake - wonky wobble; are those voices echoes from the other side?

You’ll recall Mike Monday from ‘Zum Zum’ from 5 Years Of Great Stuff or from the excellent Playtime label (also with releases like Dan Cat’s ‘Winterslow’, Worthy & Yankee Zulu’s Bad Side EP and Nick Verwey’s Horn Rash to name just three).

If you’re new to Tim Sheridan, his last release ‘Bionic Language’ is highly recommended in minimal tech vs. Steve Reich soundscape terms. And he’s done it again in his “trademark oddball manner” with the remix of ‘Your Body’ as it’s more fantastic aid-raid boogie funk house shuffle. What makes it even more FLY is that Tim is playing ‘live’ drums on it that gives it a certain jazz steam train rush; can you’re body take it?

There is definitely something VVWI about these guys and lets hope they never become normal; in the meantime get your hands on your body!
