If you were a little disappointed with Gypsy Beats And Balkan Bangers Too (yeah, definitely not as hot as Volume 1), don’t worry ‘cos Miss Platnum is gettin’ hot in the kitchen with ‘Give Me The Food’.

Your humble hack was given the nod that Miss Platnum is the nu-wave of Balkan beats as David Ben-Porat (he of Eva Be’s trombone and vocals) had got the call to join her band as a last minute replacement at Cargo earlier this year and he said it was a right paaaarteeee.

The remixes come with a load of Fly favourites like Sway and Shantel. While Daz-I-Kue/Bugz In The Attic and Georg ‘Wahoo’ Levin reforms the b-side, ‘Mercedes Benz’.

She’s bound to get one soon, a Mercedes Benz that is, as this is destined for chart success all over Europe.

Miss P was born in Timişoara, Romania but now lives in Germany as she moved to Berlin when she was 8. As an aside, it’s said that there are now more Mercedez Benz in Russia than there are in Germany. Not sure I believe that one.

‘Give Me The Food’ is hotter than a bucket of chicken wings and we definitely like the tight pants. Not one for yoghurt eaters but fans of the ‘larger’ size goddess’ like Sarah Beeny, Kirstie Allsop and Jo Frost, you know what she’s getting at. Hey Gok! What about a Channel 4 special on those three?

The album Chefa is already out in Germany and is due out here soon.
