A dub version of Riva Starr Remix turned up on Elite Force’s Lot49 DJ Compilation mix CD (Lot 49 being Meat Katie’s label who released ‘Feathers’ with Aquasky) but here you get the proper version. Riva Starr (aka Stefano Miele) knows his history and comes out with a Jackin’ version; immediate off you head reactions. Who can resist? The Riva Starr Oz tour starts 31st July so check his myspace for the latest gig news.

The other version comes from the much in demand ‘experimentalist’ Dyno. As much as l like to jack my body, this is possibly the best of the lot as it’s minimal confuzed techno dub. Definitely worth checking out if you get anywhere near his club base of Riccione this summer.

There’s a couple of instrumental bonus tracks, ‘Sacrum’ and ‘So Undead’ and unsurprisingly, they are both great. ‘Sacrum’ leans more towards bleepery house whilst ‘So Undead’ is on the same track but a bit more computer game orientated.

This is only the 16th record on Hell Yeah Recordings and from the little I know, this is definitely the best one to date and essential for 2008.
