So after the success of the compilation Confused Disco (taking on XYZ and Strutt to name just two other fans of ital-disco), Confused 90s is Hell Yeah showing respect for the lesser known Italo-house.

So back in the day, Ramirez (not to be confused with D.Ramirez) was project of the DFC label made up of producers Davide Rizzatti, Elvio Moratto and Ricki Persi with Alex Quiroz Buelvas as the front-man vocalist for videos and live performances.

Hell Yeah have already got Radio Slave to remix their 1992 hit ‘Hablando’ so when they asked Blatta & Inesha if they’d want to remix four of their other hits from the 90’s, of course they had to say hell yeah!

For tech-house heads you gotta start with the b-side of ‘La Musika Tremenda’ that’s going to be the big track along with the Crookers bass wobble of ‘Un Minuto Para Evacuar’. Two hugely different tracks but both bang with dancefloor intensity. What you’ll love about this EP is that Blatta & Inesha have kept in just bits of dead-pan spoken word of the titles (you couldn’t call it a vocal) so you know it’s a bit different. And the a-side, ‘El Ritmo Barbaro’ and ‘Orgasmico’, follow this theme but are even louder bangin’ “spaghetti house” tracks with bits of electro, rave and ital-disco pasta thrown in.

“Next big thing DJ” Lee Mortimer is playing this out so expect others to follow as they did with the other recent Hell Yeah releases, notably Florian Meindl’s ‘8 Bit Romance’ and Pirate Robot Midget’s ‘It’s My Beat’ but remember, la musika tremenda sums it up.
