Please note this is an old page and Fly Global Music has now moved. Please follow this link and search for the entry in the new site. So ‘Ziba Biva’ is a bit of a mind reading techno train trip (and as regular readers will know, trains, techno and distant voice samples from the souk are big winners in our books) you can see why Seeley has bee called “the David Lynch of Techno”. On the reverse is ‘Monk’ and it’s a bit of a killer at just over nine minutes long of freestyle jazz house percussion bang - Steve Reid [RIP] would be will into this. Everyone needs to pick up on this one. Seeley’s debut was Veryverywrongindeed’s debut release in 2007 with the Juicy Vermin EP. That was followed up last year with the Friggot EP that got him some attention from Radio Slave’s Rek’d imprint, releasing the Mas Profund EP. As ’ Ziba Viva’ is well up to standard and ‘Monk’ is as big as Rasputin, this is going to get loads of attention outside of just tech house insiders on Resident Advisor and Data Transmission - did I say how big ‘Monk’ is?
