‘You’re My Fix’ is taken from their album Everyone’s Entitled To Our Opinion that came out at the start of the year. The best track from the album some say (perhaps due to its similarity to Goldfrapp, although vocals are by Katty Heath). So if you’re looking for a remix, time to call in the Losers.

And who are they than? Well it’s a couple of winning losers known as Eddy Temple Morris (XFM and renown remix-holic) and Tom Rhysmix (Cooper Temple Clause). They claim this is their best remix ever! That’s fine if you’re into big guitars, drums, wobbly synths and girly vocals circa Marc Bolan feather boa period - hey, we all have those guilty pleasures? And whilst on the subject, did I ever tell you the story of my step mum and Ms. Goldfrapp’s mom? (Ed. One for another day when the lawyers ain’t reading).

But for louder, you can’t beat the Utah Saints (no relation) for jackin’ up the doseage; they can’t stop and they don’t - “give me love” with synths - I’d give you some. This is the one! Australia you’ve been warned!

Not to be outdone, Slyde (aka Jason Laidback and Robin 12Tree) thought they’d get in on the act for their fans. Not as clean as the Utah Saints you might say. So it’s dirty then? Well the bass is anyway and that’s what counts.

You’ll recall these guys did the cover of Sex ‘N’ Drugs (‘n’ Rock ‘n’ Roll) and the ‘Frequency’ remixes that we were all in favour of and whilst I can see Loser remix getting on the radio, Utah Saints and Slyde’s remixes are going to get the club rotation.

Don’t forget the album version is rather good to start with.
