Last year A-Skillz brought us ‘Happiness’ for Christmas but he’s exelled himself with this one.

As this is the first release on his own label, the bar has been set high as he covers Memphis’ Foster Sylvers classic 1973 track, ‘Misdemeanour’ (recorded when he wasn’t even teenager and written by elder brother, Leon), this was truly in the footsteps of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5.

As The CB’s have pinched the ever incredible Yolanda (last seen on Pinch’s ‘Get Up’ bass heavy tracks, see review HERE) you know the vocals are fantastic..

I can’t believe we’ve had to wait unit 21st December for the best one-off track of the year but don’t forget the dirty bass out remix by Liverpool’s finest, No Fakin’ (lovin’ the bassline) and ASkillz gives it a remix on the flip.

Steve Lamacq (6 Music) is giving this one spins along with usual suspects Z-Trip, Krafty Kuts and DJ Yoda and make sure you don’t miss out on it.
