Please note this is an old page and Fly Global Music has now moved. Please follow this link and search for the entry in the new site. The first album Harmonium came as a little bit of a shock but what with Michael Leonhart & The Avramina’s Seahorse And The Storyteller album release, our love of the Californian cosmic sounds via Carlos Niño and the revelation of Shindig! magazine, this should be the sound of the summer. The Joe Meek production sound is still present and every track has something from the psychedelica, garage, pop, soul, folk “golden” age to be a great listen from start to finish. The cover is a detail from Lesley Coulson’s Sugar Tea Cups which is ‘famed’ by the old Blue Note label strip at the top and is just perfect. The one thing that missing is the “obvious” festival appearance at Big Chill and the long hot summer. Forthcoming gigs: Reviewed: The Soundcarriers - Celeste (Melodic) Cat.
