Following on from the debut album Wave If You’re Really There and the previous single ‘I Go I Go I Go’, Wave Machines have lost the synths and are taking advantage of their summer splash festival success of appearances at the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury, Lovebox, Electric Picnic, Liverpool Sound City and Dot To Dot festival (check them all out in Rob da Bank’s A-Z of Festivals).

And talking of da Bank, their next big festival is Sunday Best’s end of season party fest at Bestival on the Isle of Wight and I suspect ‘Punk Spirit’ with be hummed and sung around the camp fires late into the early hours.
