The band take their name from this Beyoncé Knowles quote and are led by the totally sexy Lovefoxxx on vocals (Warning for radio presenters, don’t fall into the Freudian slip of calling her Loveboxxx that I have heard resently, ooopps!).

So how come this album released last June is getting a re-issue. Well, some folks take a time to catch on but they’ve been touring ever since and the best track is now being released as a single, ‘Lets Make Love (And Listen To Death From Above)’

CSS formed in São Paulo with a DIY punk funk ethic closely related to the Baile Funk spirit (see Edu K). Who would have thought they would be a Brazilian ESG? You can see why they’ve made an impression as they don’t take themselves too seriously and are riding a wave of good fortune for as long as they can.

As the trendy press move onto the latest sensation, Bonde Do Role (outta Curitba), I’m definitely not tired of being sexy with CSS.
