Following his days in Rockers Hi Fi, Glyn “Bigga” Bush’s solo career started with Studio Don (Sonar Kollektiv) as Lighting Head which was followed by BiggaBush Free and Sound Sensation both on Stereo Deluxe. The Big Chill set not only sees the launch of BiggaBush In Dub but also the Lion Head Recordings label.

Fans of Glyn’s live set will spot that BiggaBush In Dub contains some of his finest tried and tested dubs plus some brand new ones and an exclusive guitar-based version of Rockers’ all-time favourite ‘Push Push’.

The CD was originally produced for sale at the Big Chill Festival 2006 but met with such a good response that it was decided to make it available exclusively at the BiggaBush website. Note that this is a strictly limited edition release of one thousand copies which can be ordered direct from www.biggabush.co.uk.

And to think that none of this may have happened if Glyn wasn’t scrubbing dishes to the sound of his tranny in Selly Oak all those years ago (see John Peel Day 2006 for an explanation). Not only that, there’s news that the very long-awaited second Lightning Head album is on its way, a new BiggaBush studio LP plus an album of guitar music! Jah Bless ya Glyn.
