The post entails:

• help organise contacts into an excel database(hip hop, media, community, professionals)
• promoting DAM and their gigs in the hip hop, students and community forums + chat rooms and other internet tools.
• work on press releases and follow up with the media
• help organise media interviews
• help welcome the band to the UK (June 17th - July 15th)

This is a volunteer post that will provide excellent contacts, the basics of music promotion in the context of an independent label and live performances, and the opportunity to make a difference within the Palestinian/Arab community with the band that creates the most exciting buzz worldwide.
