Spank Rock’s album YoYoYoYoYo (Big Dada) found us wanting more Batlimore beats. The biggest hit of Milkcreate Records’ Bmore Gutter Music sound gets out over in the UK.

The track ‘Blow’ is full of the same sexual induendo Spank Rock got Amanda Blank to do on the foul-mouthed porn rap ‘Bump’. ‘Blow ’ is no less subtle in that respect keeping up with ‘Play’; what would Blank and Banner do if they met head to head?

Someone’s havin’ a laugh with ‘Radio Edit’, the other remixes are more of the same but the one that’s got me bouncing big time is the Low Bee remix with High School brass band a la Stephani’s ‘Hollaback Girl’. The ‘Dirty Mix’ has some more high-speed spitting too hot for a Red Hot Channel. I’ve just fallen in on the riff, it that sounds like a cross between an old Bontempi and a cuica doing the intro to the ‘Old Grey Whistle Test’!?
