When I heard this album, I thought…wow!

Funky, Fresh, classic - all styles thrown into one album. Piano playing with umph!

Aaron Parks quartet consists of:

Mike Moreno - guitar
Matt Penman - bass
Eric Harland - drums
Aaron - piano, keys, glockenspiel and mellotron http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellotron

Stand out tracks are:

Travelers - with the cool keys and bass!
Nemesis - guitar and drums, heavy!
Karma - yes, I do like tracks with a drum and bass vibe.
Harvesting Dance - feeling the wind chimes
Praise - relaxing vibes of Aaron, Eric and co.

I really could add more tracks, but…hey, I think five out of ten tracks is good going for recommendations on the album.

Whilst Aaron has his own style, he reminds me of another Brooklynite - Robert Glasper.

A nice album to relax to. Jazz with flavour.
