I recently saw a listings page for a band called Tequila Mockingbird, so Eliot doesn’t win the prize for best pun I’m afraid. But that apart, and the dodgy cover, these 13 tracks are just what we expected after his contributions to History Is Bunk (Parts 1 & 2).

In terms of IDM, the stand out tracks are ‘Rhyme War’, ‘Sex Tape’ and ‘Vallejo’ but it’s a solid collection throughout. Hefty Records is just on the button for me at the moment. And if the ambient scene is more your thing, they’ve got that covered with Solo Andata (see Fyris Swan).
