Gym Class Heroes are back in the country soon to promote the single but this is a band that are constantly on the road. They seem to be on tour all the time. When I saw them in Portsmouth recently, you could see why. These guys just love being on stage.

Led by vocalist Travis McCoy, his good looks and cheeky schoolboy persona is a big hit with teen girls who make up the majority of their fan base.

‘Cupid’s Chokehold (Breakfast In America)’ is one of their many sing-along feel-good tunes and it’s given Sumpertramp some street cred (who’d have thought?)

Spot Patrick ‘All over the Internet’ Stump at the beginning? He turned up on the latest album As Cruel As School Children which is being re-released on 7th May.

Due to their free spirited hip hop, indie, rock, pop style, they are a band that have as many haters as fans but this isn’t the type of thing that worries them. McCoy says. “We’re not interested in changing who we are or what we do to make anybody happy, which makes it even cooler when people start picking up on it and noticing us.” Well, it might have been hard graft to start with but they seem to have broken through to the next level.

GCH certainly make lots of people happy and if you can’t say “Take a look at my girlfriend”, let Travy do it for ya.
