Even though the Montreal techno star is at the more mainstream end of techno, we know she’s a fan of the minimal (like Florian Meindl’s ‘Reality Is On The Way!’) and this forthcoming track, ‘Barcelona’ shows that she’s also keen on lush electro synths.

In sharp contrast, the Holden Bass Tool version is really experimental as it angle grinds the beautiful beats into some unholy place in the torture chamber. This is one for the next Unsafe it’s that scary.

Boarder Community is James Holden’s label and last year gained attention with the acclaimed album release by Nathan Fake (apparently his real name), Drowning In A Sea Of Love. The Holden Bell Dub affirms his progressive and original approach to production and it’s harsh on the ear to be honest but it’s a shame it wasn’t developed into a longer track.

‘Jamais Moi Sans Toi’ is anything but dark and comes across like a Depeche Mode instrumental (or any multitude of remixes). Both tracks are currently loaded on her MySpace site (see links below) and it’s party time for her and James as it looks like the pair of them are off to the World Music Conference for party season in Miami.
