Eddie Harris supplies two tracks including the virtuoso Lovely is Today with its elegant, dancing sax solos and Live Right Now with its dense layering of sound. As with all Harris' stuff it is down home funky of course if not entirely psychedelic.

More recognisable hippy trippin' track business comes from Jimmie & Vella Cameron via Chica Boom. Respect to the compilers for unearthing this little gem. Folk-funk-jazz with hippy tones. Yeah.

There are a few fillers too to be fair like the Freddie Hubard track but these are more than balanced out by the weird and wonderful like The Brain Of Oskar Panizza by MIchael Bundt, Herbie Hancock's indo-funksta Wiggle Waggle or It Ain't What You Do (It's How You Do It!) by the J. Geils Band.
