Radio 1′s Gilles Peterson played a track this week from the fifth Os Ipanemas album on Far Out Recordings and although it’s a busy week, these new recordings from “the original Afro-Brazilian Kings” have rarely sounded better.
Far Out release the Original Sound Track to the brilliant film Garrincha ‘Estrela Solitaria’ on CD and they couldn’t have timed it better.
