As the Shez Raja Collective prepare for their album launch gig in the heart of Soho jazzland this week, the CD got wondering where the Mahavishnu Orchestra would be in 2010 if they’d been led by Jaco Pastorius; Mystic Radikal wouldn’t have been too far away – yep, It’s that good!
Hard to believe that their worldwide hit ‘La Bamba’ came out in 1987 but they are there still going strong and their new album Tin Can Trust sees them all set for their Hop Farm Festival set this weekend.
